Fellow of the American Society of Neurorehabilitation (FASNR)

The title of Fellow of the ASNR (FASNR) is reserved for individuals who have contributed significantly to the field of Neurorehabilitation, and also to ASNR. The title is an honor bestowed by the society and is held throughout the recipient’s lifetime.



Visionary Innovator in Science, Translation, and Education (V.I.S.T.E.) Award

Kenneth M. Viste, Jr., MD was a tireless advocate for Neurorehabilitation and ASNR, and was active in the organization since its inception as President, Membership Committee Chair and a member of the Practice Issues Committee.  ASNR honors his memory by presenting the Visionary Innovator in Science, Translation, and Education (V.I.S.T.E.) Award annually to an individual that has supported the mission and vision of ASNR.



Rising Star Award

The Rising Investigator in Science and Innovation for Neurorehabilitation (Rising Star) Award is presented annually to an Instructor or Assistant Professor level individual that has shown potential as a leader in the field of neurorehabilitation.



Nominations for all awards are due Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Only completed application forms will be considered. Awards will be presented during ASNR2026: Los Angeles in Long Beach.
